Welcome Connections are an online networking event to build and strengthen relationships, understanding and capacity for appropriately welcoming prison leavers into faith communities.
These events are collaboratively delivered by a prison leaver, two organisations and individuals working within the sector, such as Prison Governors, Prison Chaplains and Community Chaplains.
This session will provide you with:
- A chance to engage, learn and connect across faith communities and organisations across the sector
- The opportunity to hear a prison leaver's journey, their experience of the criminal justice system and how they were supported by a faith community
- Ideas for how faith communities can provide a positive environment for prison leavers during their resettlement processK
