The Welcome Directory invites you, as a registered faith or belief community, to attend our Annual Safeguarding Awareness Webinar on Tuesday 8th April 2025, 7:30 – 9:00pm.
This is intended for registered faith communities to provide further opportunity for you to raise awareness of safeguarding issues specific to prison leavers while encouraging communication with your Safeguarding Lead/ Advisor(s) and reference to your policy.
If you have not attended a Prisons Awareness Course in the last year, we encourage at least one member of your faith community (either your safeguarding lead, senior faith leader, or champion) to attend this 1.5hr session.
The session will include a refresher on MAPPA relating to high-risk offences, scenario-based learning, and an opportunity to hear from those with experience of safeguarding, specifically relating to prison leavers and/or faith or belief community context.
